THE HISTORY OF SIGHT
the painting in the museum lobby seemed so alive as she stared at it.
almost like it could speak to her.
Thirteen year old Tally feels broken. She spends her days alone, trying to avoid the shame of being seen in her world. But one day, during an early summer heat wave, something happens. She wanders into a museum and, unable to pay the entrance fee, sits in the lobby — and finds herself strangely attracted to a painting on the wall. As the days go by, she returns again and again to the museum… until one day, something fantastic happens. And Tally, and the painting, are never the same.
